Foot Locker Uses PeopleAnswers' Assessment Software to Enhance Hiring Process
Foot Locker has extended its partnership with PeopleAnswers, a provider of pre-employment selection software that helps companies to maximize employee performance while minimizing employee turnover.
PeopleAnswers has extended its software licensing agreement for Foot Locker, Inc. With this announcement, Foot Locker will be able to use the PeopleAnswers HR solution in its 2,500 stores across the United States representing Foot Locker, Lady Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Champs Sports and Footaction.
"It is important for Foot Locker to have a consistent platform to help us hire the best people and match them to the right positions while also driving greater efficiency and accuracy in our store recruitment process," said Robert Perkins, Foot Locker's vice president, talent management. "PeopleAnswers automates this step with technology that is easier and more efficient for our managers."
Foot Locker has earlier utilized PeopleAnswers’ software for pre-employment in its 600 stores as successful pilot program. Now the company will use the software for pre-employment screening and employee selection for its hourly and management positions across all U.S. locations, bringing the total to 2,500 stores.

Foot Locker, a specialty athletic retailer, will develop a consistent, automated process that is more efficient for store managers and will help improve hiring decision quality, employee retention, productivity and customer service. The company will use Web-based PeopleAnswers assessment to prescreen job candidates who share many of the same behaviors.
