Flexera Software, a provider of application usage management software, has recently appointed Sabine Fischer as the new Vice President of Services & Solutions Engineering, EMEA.

Flexera Software is committed to helping application producers and enterprises increase application usage and maximise their investments in software. The company’s Application Usage Management solutions are used to ensure continuous licensing compliance, optimize software investments and to future-proof businesses against the risks and costs of constantly changing technology.

The company has experienced a remarkable double digit annual growth since its establishment, and has achieved $200 million in revenues so far. More than 80,000 customers have turned to Flexera Software as a trusted and neutral source for software licensing knowledge and expertise.

The company has now hired Fischer to manage consulting services delivery and sales engineering within the EMEA region. She is also responsible for the growth of Flexera Software’s solutions and consulting service offerings in the region.

Speaking on this occasion, Peter Prestele, Flexera Software’s senior vice president and general manager, EMEA said,  “Organizations are contending with unprecedented levels of change and new technology innovation, such as the cloud, virtualization, Software as a Service (SaaS), mobility, consumerization of IT, M2M and the Internet of Things, to name a few.  How organizations leverage Application Usage Management to maximize efficiencies and minimize costs in the software licence lifecycle will be critical to whether or not they will succeed, and they look to leaders like Flexera Software to provide complete solutions incorporating technology and services.”

Prestele said that their company is investing heavily in EMEA, including finding the best and brightest professionals to help them achieve their next level of growth.

“Sabine is a seasoned expert in developing and delivering technology and services solutions and will provide tremendous value to support Flexera Software’s rapid growth across EMEA,” Prestele added.

Fischer is backed with twenty five years of experience in senior management, sales and marketing capacities at leading technology companies. She worked as a Managing Director and Country Manager at Tieto Deutschland GMBH, before joining Flexera Software.
